1. What You Can Delete
You can request the deletion of:
- Your personal account and associated identity data.
- Tenant project artifacts and official versions, subject to your role's permissions.
- Configurations, integrations and BYOK keys you have registered.
- Activity history and operational records directly tied to your account.
2. How to Request Deletion
Send an email to hola@hivanexus.com including:
- Your name and the email registered in HIVA Nexus.
- The name of the company (tenant) where you have an account.
- A clear description of which data you want deleted.
- A valid government-issued ID to verify your identity.
If the request affects tenant data, it must be signed by an authorized person — usually the Tenant Admin.
3. Timeframes
We will confirm receipt within the next 5 business days and process the request within 20 business days from validation. In exceptional cases we may extend this period, informing you in writing and justifying the reason.
4. Effects of Deletion
Deletion is final and cannot be reversed. As a result:
- You lose access to the account and to the projects you participated in.
- Integrations and BYOK keys are disconnected.
- Deleted artifacts are no longer available for search or impact analysis.
- Backup encryption expires with the corresponding retention cycle.
5. Data That Is Not Deleted
Due to legal and audit requirements, we keep the following items encrypted until the corresponding retention period ends:
- Hash-chained audit log: cryptographic integrity requires not breaking the chain.
- Tax and accounting information derived from billing.
- Data required by judicial order or competent authority.
These items are deleted when the applicable legal period ends.
